MODERN Workshop - Monday thru Friday, 10:30am - 1:30pm
Mr. Sanasardo will be conducting a Graham-based Modern dance workshop in his personal style. The workshop consists of a ballet technique class followed by the Modern workshop. During the class, he will pass along to young dancers that dance is an art form with a rich legacy which we should all know about. In the last week, he will choreograph a short demonstration piece to be performed informally.

Paul Sanasardo is universally recognized as one of the leading teachers and exponents of Modern dance. His dance training was guided by teachers such as Martha Graham and Antony Tudor. He created and was the artistic director of the annual summer Modern dance program at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and was also artistic director of the Bathseva Dance Company of Israel.

MUSICAL THEATER/JAZZ Workshop - Monday thru Friday, 10:30am - 1:30pm
Mr. Ingram's workshop will introduce students to the world of professional jazz dance and musical theater. Students will learn choreography for jazz dance, and they will also perform a musical theater production number in which they sing and dance. The workshop consists of a ballet technique class followed by the Musical Theater/Jazz workshop. Chicago vocal instructor and director of the musical theater program at Chicago Performing Arts High School, Patricia Rusk, will join Mr. Ingram in teaching the vocal component of the workshop.

Kenny Ingram is a singer, dancer and musical theater veteran, having performed in and choreographed for Chicago 's Steppenwolf Theater, the Goodman Theater, Mariott Linconshire, and Shakespeare Repertory on Navy Pier. His touring credits include Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat , Ragtime , Showboat and most recently The Lion King.
