Presented by the Ruth Page Dance Series in collaboration with Northeastern Illinois University, the quintessential holiday and family classic is back! The little girl heroine, her mysterious godfather magician, the battle between toy soldiers and mice, a forest glade of dancing Snowflakes – are brought to life in this beautiful production of the Ruth Page Civic Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Originally presented in the Arie Crown Theatre from 1965 until 1997, this production recreates Ruth Page’s iconic and beloved original full-length staging. Featuring international guest artists and an elite company, experience the exquisite dancing, stunning costumes and magical settings in the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of the Sweets like never before!
