Enrollment Policy & Class Expectations

The Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance is an open school that welcomes students of all ages. Students with previous training may enroll at any time during the year. It is school policy to evaluate incoming young students and assign class levels. Class placement is at the discretion of the School Director. Please note: Pre-approval is required for all Pre-professional levels (Levels V and VI). Late enrollment for these classes can only be accepted at the discretion of the instructor.

Students are expected to attend every class and to arrive on time. Progress in class depends upon the student’s regular attendance and consistent class participation. Important warm-up exercises are conducted at the beginning of class. Students who enter the class late may be asked by the teacher to observe class. Students are allowed to make-up classes anytime during the term. Any classes not made up during the term are forfeited. Instructors should be notified in advance of a class absence when possible.

Parents and visitors are invited to observe class in the 8th week of the term. The Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment.

Ruth Page School of Dance reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student for unsatisfactory attendance or conduct.
