SUMMER DANCE FOR ALL LEVELS - PRE-DANCE TO ADVANCEDThe Ruth Page School of Dance is happy to announce our summer dance programs for all levels of dance. Since our summer dance is an extension of our year-round program, dancers will continue in the same ballet level as they were in the school year 2018/19, even if the dancer will be promoted in the fall of 2019.

Four-week and two-week options (June 24 – July 5, or July 1 – July 12).
Tuition is $2200 for all four weeks, and $1100 for two weeks.
Scholarship and work-study options are available (application due by June 3, 2019).
Housing, chaperoned and unchaperoned, also available for an additional fee (depost due by May 15, 2019).

A True Dance IntensiveThis summer program is designed to push young dancers in their technique and musicality. Students will meet forty hours a week for class with teachers from all over the world, master classes and performance outings. Ruth Page School of Dance Students will reap the benefits of continued training with our own renowned faculty, but will also have the honor to learn with guest artists and teachers from across the globe.The Ruth Page School of Dance and The International Dance Experience has hosted participants from Spain, Bahamas, Mexico, Italy, Japan, and 11 states.

Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training CompanyDancers who are interested in the 2019 – 2020 Civic Ballet Training Company may audition at any of the 2019 IDE audition dates. Eligible dancers will have completed high school and should expect to attend the 2019 IDE. All auditionees must complete an application form and submit two 4x6” photos: a headshot and in first arabesque. $20 audition fee may be paid with cash or check (payable to Ruth Page School of Dance).
DVD/YouTube Audition (Due by April 15, 2019)
Ruth Page School of Dance gives first preference to students who audition in person. However, we do accept videos (non-returnable) if circumstances prevent you from attending a live audition. Please contact the administrator for more details if you require a DVD submission.

SUMMER DANCE WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNING DANCERS • 7-14 YRS OLD*Intended for Ruth Page students in beginner classes and beginning students who are new to Ruth Page.NO AUDITION REQUIRED.

Come for fun or to get that extra boost for fall! Classes are Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM daily. Ballet and tap are offered everyday, jazz and hip hop will alternate.
Registration is on a weekly basis – students may choose to attend for one, two, three or all four weeks! Weeks do not need to be consecutive. Classes in the Summer Dance Workshop are not sold individually or by the day. Tuition is due in full the first day of camp.
Tuition: one week, $300 two weeks, $575 three weeks, $850 four weeks, $1100

SUMMER PRE-DANCE • 2-7 YRS OLD*NO AUDITION REQUIRED
An opportunity for our youngest Ruth Page School dancers to continue their training during the summer in a fun and focused mini session. The Pre-Dance program is a prelude to formal dance training and introduces students to music and movement with a structured progression. Through each level, the classes emphasize increasing coordination, balance, memory, musicality, strength and flexibility.Classes are offered twice a week for four weeks in the following:Pre-Dance for Tots (2* years)Pre-Dance I (3* years)Pre-Dance II (4* years)Pre-Dance III (5* years)Pre-Dance IV (6* years)Boys Ballet & Movement (6*-10 years)*must meet age requirement as of 9/1/2018•Classes in the Summer Pre-Dance program are not sold individually or by the day.Registration is for the complete, four-week mini session.•
