Ruth Page Subsidized Theater & Studio Rental Program

The Ruth Page Subsidized Theater and Studio Rental Program allows performing artists and companies to prepare and present their work at reduced costs. Ruth Page Center subsidizes the operating costs, helping organizations meet their artistic and financial goals while reducing the financial burden of a Chicago engagement.

Non-profit organizations qualify for a 30% discount on rentals. Based on need, organizations may submit a Long-Term Subsidized Rental Application.

Theater

The Ruth Page Theater embodies the organization’s mission to be a platform for developing great artists and connecting them with audiences and community. Our unique 218-seat black-box theater is the cultural focal point that brings people together to appreciate, celebrate, and engage with the performing arts.

Includes: Cyc, scrim, black drapes, light plot of 85+ instruments, and sound system.

Studios

As a premiere destination for dance in Chicago, Ruth Page Center features four well-lit, spacious, and welcoming dance studios. The studios are used by In-Residence companies such as DanceWorks Chicago, Hedwig Dances, Giordano Dance Chicago, as well as Ruth Page School of Dance.
